The guarantee is only valid when the following details have been adhered to. This guarantee is not transferable and is strictly personal to the person named on the Vevo Secure Registration Form.

A postal application or the online registration form has been correctly completed in full at www.vevowindows.co.uk/vevosecure within 14 days of the doors and/or windows being fitted.

All doors and/or windows were securely closed, deadlocked with the key and the key removed from the cylinder lock, and not in the night vent position.

This guarantee will only apply if you have complied with terms of your insurance policy and upon acceptance of your claim by your insurers.

All door and/or window locks and moving components (locks, handles and hinges) should be kept free of dirt and should be lubricated twice yearly at equal intervals by the registrant with light machine oil.

In the unlikely event of a break-in whereby a door and/or window lock has been subject to a manual intervention and forced entry have been gained, the registrant should immediately contact their Vevo Select door and window installer and provide the installer with full details of the forced entry and the relevant crime number issued by the local police force within 14 days of the forced entry. Forced entry by you, any member of your family, any lodger or tenant, or any other visitor or person known to you is specifically excluded from the Guarantee Scheme

If it is established that the doors were installed, correctly adjusted and maintained, Vevo windows and doors, may at its sole discretion repay any insurance excess payable under your home contents policy, up to a maximum of £1,000.

Proof of insurance excess and installation date is required to support your claim and to enable Vevo windows and doors to process any payment under this scheme.

Only one claim shall be made per registrant during the guarantee period. This guarantee does not cover forced entry through breakage or removal of the glass.

The guarantee period shall be for a term of 10 years from the date of installation of the windows and/or doors incorporating the security door and/or window locks and only the original registrant of the guarantee shall be able to enforce the rights under this guarantee.

• Your personal data will be kept for a period of 10 years from the installation date i.e. the duration of the guarantee after which time it will be securely destroyed/ deleted from our systems
