BFRC Energy Rating

From the 1st October 2010 all windows must have a Thermal Transmittance (U Value) of 1.6 W/m2.K or lower (i.e. Window Energy Rating C or above) and doors have to have value of 1.8 W/m2.K.

We are registered licence holders with the British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC), the body responsible for window energy ratings in the UK.

We are delighted to be able to display the following BFRC labels on our Casement and Vertical Slider windows.

Our windows are capable of achieving the above window energy ratings, simply by changing the specification of the sealed units.

We can also offer the full range in our coloured profiles, by using 'thermal inserts' to replace steel reinforcing.
